The Fortunato Rally is a scavenger hunt style vintage car rally that gathers teams of automotive enthusiasts for some friendly competition to exercise their vehicles over a 1,000+ mile 3-day tour of New England states (and sometimes NY) during Mid-October each year.
Along the way, they will network with other car nuts, test the durability of their car, possibly perform some improvised roadside repairs, drive some cool roads while using clues to search for checkpoints, perform some optional activities, take lots of photos and make memories just trying to finish!
"I've never seen a car I didn't like" is our motto! All cars, trucks, vans, etc. pre-1990 are welcome to participate in the Competition Class.
We are automotive preservationists at heart and love to see unusual brands and models, unlikely survivors, unique body styles and original/unusual powertrains in working order.
We are looking for people who enjoy the thrill of the driving experience and the sense of adventure a road-trip brings.
Shiny paint, patina, rusted, dented, restored or survivor - it doesn't matter. All vintage cars deserve to be driven and enjoyed, so bring them on an adventure to the Fortunato Rally!
Gear heads to novices are welcome!
The Fortunato Rally has two classes:
The Competition Class is open to vintage vehicles 1989 or older to compete against other teams for points and glory in hopes of winning an awesome trophy and bragging rights.
The Observer Class is open to modern vehicles 1990 and newer looking for a taste of what the Rally is like, but not eligible for trophies. The Observer Class is intended to handle the following scenarios:
Open to registered, insured and street legal cars, trucks, vans, etc. Sorry, no motorcycles.
